Masternode MeetingDash is a cryptocurrency that is notable because it is has integrated a Decentralized Autonomous Organization. The Dash development teams is appointed and funded through this mechanism. Additionally, Dash is a hybrid proof of work and proof of stake system which also includes privacy through ring signatures. While miners secure the network participants in the network may also become Masternodes and stake their coins to earn shares of block rewards. Masternodes must have 1,000 Dash; this also provides them the ability to vote on proposals. Last updated November 19th, 2017 with an improved refinement. Dash is also formerly known as Xcoin and DarkCoin.
